The financing will support research and development in precision radiation therapy and radiosurgery, with the aim of developing new solutions for the treatment of several types of cancer and certain neurological disorders.
Most of the R&D work will be carried out in Sweden and the Netherlands. The EIB financing represents around half of the total project cost of approximately €200 million.
