Ambu acquires US endoscopy company

TIMS Medical develops imaging and reporting solutions for endoscopy, designed to integrate with hospital workflows and IT systems.

Through the acquisition, Ambu will also gain access to around 7,000 installations across US hospitals. The company says the deal will expand its customer reach and accelerate its EndoIntelligence agenda – Ambu’s proprietary endoscopy technology platform, which combines hardware, software and AI across several endoscopy areas.
