Today, Sofia Wallström is director general of Ivo, the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate, and between 2013 and 2019 she was director general of TLV, the Swedish Agency for Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits. She also has previous experience as, among other things, chancellor councilor at the Ministry of Finance.

In a report, criticism of Ivo's management and governance emerged recently, which Göteborgs-Posten has previously reported.

While the Government Office writes in a press release that Sofia Wallström is stepping down from her position at Ivo, at her own request as of September 30, Lif announces that she will become the new CEO of the industry organization.
