Low-profile Danish biotech recruits Mikael Dolsten
Danish biotech company Quantumcell has quietly assembled a heavyweight group of investors, including Novo Holdings and the Lundbeck Foundation. Following its multibillion-dollar deal with Sweden’s Alzecure, the company is now strengthening its ranks further – with Swedish executive Mikael Dolsten joining the board.
Mikael Dolsten has been a board member of Quantumcell since the beginning of August, Medwatch reports, citing Denmark’s CVR business register.
He spent around 15 years as Pfizer’s global head of R&D, where he played a key role in the development of the company’s Covid-19 vaccine, among other things. He left the pharmaceutical giant in 2024.
