Sarah Lidé: ”Artificial intelligence must not replace authentic interactions”

I wrote about generative AI (Gen AI) when it first came onto the scene, with my primary concern being its impact on trust, given its tendency to hallucinate and present those hallucinations as truth. Since then, both the underlying models and our experience in interacting with them have improved to the point where we are better equipped, and more intentional, in evaluating their output, while being more aware to ensure that humans remain the “last-mile” quality assurance in professional tasks.
