In 2023, Saniona and AstronauTx entered into a research and option agreement aimed at discovering new treatments for neurological diseases. The collaboration focused on combining Saniona’s ion channel drug discovery platform with AstronauTx’s research in sleep biology and neuroscience.
The work has resulted in a drug candidate, ATX0926, which is now being prepared for IND studies — the final checks before a compound can be tested in humans.
