Amplitude specializes in developing medicines and vaccines based on taRNA (‘trans‑amplifying ribonucleic acid’), a technology expected to make RNA vaccines and therapies more potent, scalable and cost‑effective.

Under the collaboration, Amplitude will be responsible for taRNA optimization and certain preclinical research, while Lilly will take charge of further development, manufacturing, regulatory activities and commercialization, according to a press release.
