New member to Active board

The Election Committee of Active Biotech proposes a very experienced financial sector executive to join the company board. Five existing members are also to be re-elected at the AGM in May.

Tomas Nicolin

will step in as new board member of Active Biotech at the Annual General Meeting, which is to be held on May 7. He has a long experience of executive positions in the financial sector, most recently as President of the retirement pension insurance company Alecta (2004-2008) and President of the Third AP Fund (1998-2004). Tomas Nicolin serves on a number of boards, among them are Nordstjernan AB, the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation and the Swedish Industry and Commerce Stock Exchange Committee. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Stockholm School of Economics.

also suggests that the number of Board members shall be six, with no deputy board members. Five board members are to be re-elected: Klas Kärre, Magnhild Sandberg, Peter Sjöstrand, Peter Ström and Mats Arnhög, who will also be re-elected as Chairman.
