Combining two drug delivery strategies to improve bioavailability

Using a new formulation strategy, a group of Danish researchers are hoping to overcome the drug delivery challenges posed by candidates with poor solubility. The technique is a combination of two well-known methods for increasing bioavailability of such drugs: amorphous solid dispersions (ASD) and lipid-based drug delivery systems (LbDDS).
